Sriyani Gee Sath Sara

Taking a definite step to success in the musical field is the singer Sriyani Dissanayake who will launch her latest CD and cassette Sriyani Gee Sath Sara at the Tower Hall on Saturday August 9 at 6.30 p.m. A talented singer Sriyani at her show at the launch will perform sixteen of her own songs and six popular songs of Rukmani Devi. She will be backed by former Super Stars leader Ernest Soysa and his present band.

Ernest who composed the music for Sriyani's songs will also provide the music for the other popular stars who will be gracing the launch. The singers include Ishak Baig, Ronnie Leitch, Gration Ananda and Sriyani's eleven year old daughter Divya Sonali will debut at her mother's CD launch. Adding colour to the show will be Regina Selvanayagam and her dancing troupe.

Leading lyricists have stretched out a hand to help Sriyani in writing the songs. They include Dr. Ajantha Ranasinghe, Hector Wijayasiri, Hemasiri Halpita who will compere the show, Ananda Padmasiri, Bandulasiri Hewagamage and Neville Jayamaha.
