'Arumosam Wehi' now on VCD

Priyantha Colombage's children's film 'Arumosam Wehi' (Fancy Rains) which won the Best Theme Song Award at the recent Sarasaviya Film Festival 2003, is now on VCD and DVD released by Torana.

A home video entertainment for the whole family, in fact the blurbs cry out that the age group is from eight to eighty eight, 'Arumosam Wehi' comes soon after Torana's first release 'Aswasuma'. The Management of Torana must be congratulated for taking a bold step in providing home entertainment to families by promoting and producing original DVD's and VCD's in this fast moving world of technology.

The film which is appealing and endearing to children revolves around a Circus which arrives at a remote village and soon becomes popular with the children and the people despite an early mood of suspicion.

The kind hearted Circus clown Bindhu aware of a plot against the owner of the Circus, by the Manager, threatens to expose him and along with Laila the beautiful trapeze artiste they create a happy, carefree friendship with children. The cast includes Mahendra Perera, W. Jayasiri, Nuwangi Liyanage and the award winning theme song is sung by Amarasiri Pieris.
