Stephen R. Covey lecture Family vital for good values - Family vital for good values by Surekha Galagoda Dr. Stephen R. Covey co-founder/vice chairman of Franklin Covey Company USA best known as the author of the "7 habits of highly effective people" was in Sri Lanka yesterday. He conducted a full day programme on the theme "Leadership is a choice not a position" as well as a evening programme themed "Leading in Turbulent Times." Dr Covey also took time off to speak to the media. The franchise agreement between Franklin Covey Company and its local arm Dynamix International was also announced on this occasion. Speaking to the media Dr Covey said "our main focus is on principle centered leadership while skills are secondary. Therefore we always stress on good values and principles and inculcating of moral authority in people to act as change agents in organisations."
