A Voyage back 6000 years

A group of senior banking professionals recently left on a tour of Egypt which includes visits to the Pyramids and Sphinx on the Gizeh plateau, a four-day Nile Cruise on a Five Star Nile Cruise boat, and visits to a number of centers of ancient Egyptian civilization including Karnak & Luxor, the Valley of Kings etc etc.

In Cairo the Group will be visiting the famous Egyptian Museum, one of the foremost museums in the world and will see the mummies of several Egyptian Pharaohs as well as the breathtaking treasures of Tutankhaman the one & only Pharaoh whose treasures have so far been found intact and unlooted.

The Khan-el Khalil, which is perhaps the largest open air market in the world with its array of bargains will also be visited. Some of the Group will also visit Alexandria, the center of Greek & Roman civilization where Coptic, Islamic, Greek & Roman cultures overlay the ancient Pharonic. The tours are organized by Upali Travels & more tours will run into April 2004 & beyond.
