Concert by Annesley, Indrani and Gypsies The much awaited gala musical show 'Annesley and Indrani with the Gypsies' the curtain raiser for the festive season will go on the boards on Saturday December 6 at the BMICH. All three performers do not need any introduction and this show with a difference is planned to whet the appetite of music lovers who enjoy songs of yesteryear and who doesn't? The concert which will be threaded together by the popular emcee Vijaya Corea is presented by Lions Club International District 306A. A worthy fund raiser, according to District Governor Lion Marcella Silva, the proceeds will be channelled to their 'Lions gift of sight special programme' - a crusade against darkness, to eradicate preventable blindness and also towards other special service programmes needing the Lions attention. Thirty years in the music scene and the three leading still retain the power to turn on their fans. This show which will be presented keeping in mind the festive spirit will be quite a different one, and you can enjoy the favourites from the repertoire of the Moonstones, Three Sisters and Super Golden Chimes. Make a date. |
