into Friday night came to a mutual agreement that Prime Minister Ranil
Wickremesinghe should take charge of the peace process and that the peace
talks should proceed without any further delays. Working arrangement with UNF : Firm assurance from President President Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaratunga had been very positive
about the ongoing discussions between Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe
and herself and had said that they will be able to come to a working
arrangement with the UNF government on major issues which include peace,
