New 'Golden Dream' boutique launched

Pattakannus - one of Sri Lanka's longstanding goldsmiths recently launched its first jewellery boutique. The introduction of a new jewellery range created in conjunction with award winning Sri Lankan designer, Manojani Gooneratne. These fashionable and ethnically inspired classical jewellery keepsakes will be sold at the newly opened 'Golden Dream' boutique.

Pattakannus was established in 1895. The company has studied and innovated jewellery design and manufacture since the 1940s when it imported many new, British jewellery making technologies. In the 1970s, there were further accreditations with the Gemmological Association of Great Britain and the Gemmological Institute of America. "There have also been many innovations in jewellery manufacture over the years due to the introduction of many new technologies such as casting, sand blasting, tumbling, engraving, etc.

With its new ready-made jewellery range, Pattakannus offers customers quality pieces that are classical and jewellery based concepts with the intention that they would be used as heirlooms.
