Forces, LTTE camaraderie Meetings between the defence personnel serving in the North and the East and the LTTE cadres are taking place with better understanding with regard to the observance of ceasefire, SLMM spokesman Agnes Bragadottir said. Commenting on the ground situation Bragadottir told the Sunday Observer despite the political crisis the situation in the North and the East was very calm. "The meeting between the armed forces personnel in the North and the East are going on satisfactorily and both sides show greater understanding. From last week onwards several meetings, facilitated by the SLMM in the North and East have been constructive in maintaining the ceasefire," Bragadottir said. |
