Riders Day Grand Prix November 29 and 30 The Riders Day - Grand Prix 2003 of the Sri Lanka Racing Riders Association (SLRRA) is scheduled to be held on November 29 and 30 at the Pannala International Racing Circuit (PIRC), in association with the Negombo Motor Sports Club (NMSC). These races exclusively for riders will see 19 different events being worked off, including one for ladies and two for children and the SLRRA are anticipating about 150 competitors. The special events will be the Grand Prix style events over 25 laps, which will be a challenge to both man and machine. The events to be worked off are - Novices Standard Modified upto 125 cc, Standard Modified upto 100 cc, Standard Modified upto 125 cc, Standard Modified upto 250 cc, Super Moto upto 85 cc, Super Moto upto 125 cc, Super Moto upto 250 cc. Racing Motor Cycles upto 125 cc, Racing Motor Cycles upto 250 cc, Scooters for Ladies upto 60 cc, kids event upto 50 cc (under-9 years), Kids event upto 80 cc Clutch and Gear (under-13 years). Standard Modified Four Stroke upto 125 cc (single cylinder), Standard Modified Four Stroke upto 250 cc, Standard Modified Four Stroke upto 400 cc, Standard Modified upto 600 cc, Standard Modified Open Grand Prix, Street Trail Two-Stroke and Four-Stroke upto 250 cc and Racing Motor Cycles Open - Grand Prix. In addition to the racing, the organisers are providing an evening's entertainment for competitors on the day preceding the races, including dinner, music and foreign racing films.
