Thera's death: Report ready The final report of the Government Analyst on the death of Ven. Ganogodawila Soma thera will be submitted when the case will be taken up at the Negombo Magistrate's court on Tuesday, Jan. 13. The Government Analyst's report was handed over to the Judicial Medical Officer, Ragama on December 29 and a copy to the OIC Katunayake Police on Dec. 30. Remains of Ven. Soma Thera, was sent to the Government Analyst on December 23 for further investigations to find out whether there were some toxic substances in his body. Investigations were carried out in the toxicology section. "The report is now with the Police", Government Analyst, K. Sivaraja said. (S.S.L.) |
