ReiNET links with ACHE, Sri Lanka

ReiNET, a technical education institute from Mumbai, tied up with the American College of Higher Education, Dehiwala to conduct a 100% skill-based course in Computer Hardware and Web Technology in Sri Lanka. ReiNET was launched last month.

Today, computers are penetrating all facets of life such as manufacturing, commerce, stock markets, education, research and development, defence, satellite communications and medicine. Also computers are now found in almost every house and every small shop.

Thus, a staggering requirement in hardware and networking has emerged. Related fields such as manufacturing, sales and marketing, maintenance, customer support, training, network administration etc. is a necessity in Sri Lanka now.

Although in Sri Lanka there are many professionals in the software field, and many institutions offering courses related to software, a career in hardware and networking is an excellent option for students who are school leavers and for professionals already in the field, because with the growth of the computer industry, Sri Lanka has a real need for hardware and net working engineers.
