Ezra stages concert on Friday

Five enthusiastic youth musicians have banded together to stage their first concert which is going to be something quite different from the norm.

The group of course is the talented Ezra and the concert 'The Calling' will be held on Friday, March 26 at the Fellowship Hall, Christ Church, Galle Face at 7 p.m. Ezra comprises Billy Fernando - guitar/vocals, Joshua - rhythm guitar and vocals, Romesh on drums with Yohan - on bass and Dale playing rhythm and lead.

All the compositions are originals and the members reveal that the proceeds from the concert will go towards the cost of releasing their new CD titled 'Nazarene'. A lot of rehearsals are under way with the multi-instrumentalist Billy in forefront with the arrangements.

Don't miss out on "The Calling" - a concert of gospel songs by the highly talented Ezra.
