Sparks - a new vibe in town

The new aggregation in town is the versatile pop band 'Sparks' who is all geared to make an impact on today's music scene.

The members are experienced musicians who have performed in the popular music groups Zodiac, Simple and Dream Team. Handling the load of the vocals is the bass guitarist Samantha Perera and the other members Warunajith Prasanna - keyboards, Manoj and Suranga - guitars, Nadeesha - drums, Chulaka Samarakoon - percussion.

The seventh member of the team is Sanjeewa Uyanahewa. 'Sparks' in keeping with their name are bound to be good competition for the other established bands with their wide repertoire of Western and Sinhala songs.
