Malaysia Airlines Avurudu offer

Under the theme "Sinhala & Tamil New Year Get Away", Malaysia Airlines, Colombo has embarked on a promotional campaign to attract travellers to Kuala Lumpur, the Garden City of Lights."

The economy class promotional fare enables passengers to fly Malaysia Airlines to Kuala Lumpur during the month of April. There is also the additional option of purchasing a hotel package at 4 star category hotels such as Swiss Garden and Capitol Hotel during this period. Malaysia Airlines espouses their strategy of being 'customer-obsessed' and highlights their promise of 'Going Beyond Expectations' in more ways than one.

Malaysia Airlines also offers travellers the opportunity to Discover Malaysia, the easy, economical way with their "Discover Malaysia Pass", a 5-coupon pass that permits you to explore Malaysia.

Malaysia-a land of rich diversity and natural beauty, is home to blue waters, white sandy beaches, lush rainforests and cool mountain peaks. From the quiet jungle village to the buzzling metropolis, you'll find the people to be as colourful as the scenery - a mingling of cultures anxious to share their customs and flavours. If you're into adventure, you can go diving, exploring caves and white water rafting. Whether you are a nature buff, culture lover, sun worshipper, a gourmet or a shopaholic, you'll find Malaysia a tropical paradise.

Kuala Lumpur affectionately referred to as KL, is a delightful mix of old and new. Traditional Moorish buildings stand among gleaming state-of-the art skyscrapers. Several pockets of lush greenery create peaceful oases amid the city hustle. The largest and most dynamic of all Malaysian cities, KL is also home to the tallest observation tower in Southeast Asia. But amid the spectacular structures, the soul of KL is quintessentially Malaysia - with multifaceted cultures, sumptuous cuisine and smiling faces at every turn.

Going beyond Kuala Lumpur legends abound throughout this cluster of 104 islands, especially on the largest island Langkawi, a myth of two giants and how their quarrel transformed the island's landscape. An account of a curse from a beautiful maiden who was executed for a crime she didn't commit. A tale about how a lake was granted fertility powers. But perhaps the most enduring legend is one of the island itself, and how its natural beauty holds visitors in its thrall forever.

And beyond in Penang, the island state is fondly referred to as the Pearl of the Orient. A pearl sparkling with clean sandy beaches and crystal blue waters, glowing with life from verdant hillsides, reflecting rustic charm of the city's rich heritage. But perhaps Penang's greatest treasure is its delicious food, with many hawker stalls offering a diverse selection of sumptuous local fare.

From modern city centres and the charming heritage towns to idyllic country settings and adventurous terrain, Malaysia is sure to have something for everyone. And your journey of discovery also gives you great value for money.

And now you can take the fastest way to the city of Kuala Lumpur, on KLIA Ekspres, from the KLIA airport to the heart of the city of Kuala Lumpur in just 28 minutes. This "Bullet Train" departs the KL central station and KLIA airport every 15 minutes, so why waste 1 1/2 hours on the road.

Winning the world's best cabin staff for the third consecutive year emphasises Malaysia Airlines strategy in addition to being one of the top five airlines of the year; one of the top three airlines of the year with the best economy class and the best airline signature dish, to name a few. Experience this in the holiday of your lifetime.

Malaysia Airlines, recently launched their frequent flyer programme "Enrich" in Colombo which aims to recognise and reward their frequent flyers, irrespective of the class in which they travel and aims to further enhance its services to their Sri Lankan customers.

Malaysia Airlines is represented in Sri Lanka by Hemas Air Services (Pte) Ltd.
