Nalanda Old Boys wish PM The Old Nalandians have congratulated its prestigious old boy Mahinda Rajapakse on his appointment as the Prime Minister of Sri Lanka. "The Nalandians are proud and thrilled to see Mahinda Rajapakse is the first ever Old Nalandian to be elected as the Prime Minister of Sri Lanka", Old Nalandians Associations Joint Committee, General Secretary Nihal Pathirage said. The message of the Committee further says: The Sinhalese Buddhist education, and the strength Rajapakse obtained from Nalanda have proved the determination and the loyalty to his party and to reach the highest level in Sri Lankan politics. Whilst thanking the President for selecting the correct person for the post of Prime Minister he added that the all Nalandians and those who are with Nalanda, jointly wish Mahinda Rajapakse a great success in his political career and to face the challenges with his experience and straight forward leadership to build a prosperous and peaceful future for our future generation. |
