Janet to launch in Middle East Riding on the continued success of their brands in Sri Lanka and abroad, Janet is entering the lucrative Middle-East beauty market with its full complement of Herbal Beauty Care and more than 200 shades of colour cosmetics. A Janet marketing team has just returned after very successfully participating in the prestigious beauty World Middle East 2004. The International Trade fair for Beauty Products, Cosmetics and Perfumery in the Gulf Region. It was held concurrently with Wellness & SPAS Middle East 2004. The International Trade Fair for Professional Spa and Wellness Industry, from 26th to 28th April at the Dubai World Trade Centre in the UAE. "We had an excellent response to our products from buyers across the Middle East and we are now finalizing details to launch in UAE's, highly competitive and sophisticated markets, starting with Dubai - where we will service beauty salons as well as the retail trade", Janet Balasuriya explained. New Middle-East markets under negotiation at present include Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Oman and Egypt. Janet hopes to cover most of the other smaller Middle-East markets via Dubai which is the region's major trading hub - more so in the field of personal care. |
