Life of Song

Her face
Her eyes
Her song
Everywhere......
even in the air
You breathe....
As you watch her sing
She becomes a special part of you
A shadow on your mind
Don't try and turn it out,
It will never leave.....

"Life of Song" - then to now becomes a captivating reality when Dalreen Suby in collaboration with D.R. Entertainments presents 'Dalreen' on Sunday June 27 at the BMICH at 6.30 pm. An extra special concert that should not be missed will see Dalreen on stage with singers who were associated with her in her musical career in the many bands she performed.

Maxi Rosairo during her time with Spitfires and Fireflies. Unfortunately Raj Senewiratne of Savages fame, the group that made a tremendous impact in Sri Lanka and Vietnam is unable to make this special date due to his heavy commitment in work.

Others include Mignonne during the Jetliner years, Tony de Silva of Amazing Grace, Donald Pieris of Orpheus time, Damien when Rendezvous was in action, Sunil Perera of Gypsies who was also associated with Dalreen on radio, Sohan Weerasinghe of X'periments, and Janapriya of Two's Company a band led by Dalreen, will share the stage that evening. Harmony backing will be handled by Antoinette de Alwis with Trevin Joseph and Debbie.

There will be more surprises at 'Life of Song' - then to now, which is sponsored appropriately by Singer always associated with music. The print media sponsors are Sunday Observer and Daily News. Watch out for more details.
