Rock Sat.'s back!

Rock and metal crazed packs and herds have probably been dying for the empty dark stages of Colombo to be filled once again. Colombo has been a little too quiet in the past few months. What with abrupt humidity and sudden lashing rains, the entertainment factor in Colombo has been at a perceivably low end - yet like the unpredictable weather a storm is still set to erupt once again.

Bigger, louder, heavier than ever - get ready to have your ear drums busted to the sounds of Sri Lanka's Rock Masters (Or monsters?), once again thrashing it out with ferocious melody. Where else but at the CR&FC Club House?

Rock Company took a month's break after the ground breaking first ever Rock Tour, the Rock Fest trinity that drew rock fans in droves to Kandy, Taj Airport Garden Hotel Seeduwa and Boat House Nuwara Eliya. Rock company office was deluged with mail castigating the Rock Company for not having the monthly event, with some fans even alleging that Colombo was being given step-motherly treatment.

All of them can now forget anything else happening on Saturday the 29th of May 'cos the fast paced, adrenaline pumping action that they've missed this past month will be happening again at the CR&FC Club House. This months event is called Wicked Again - which is fair warming that Rock Saturday is back again with a vengeance.

Get ready to catch Stigmata, Whirlwind Soul Skinner, Taunt, 9th Avenue and Dylan Jayakody who are preparing to unleash a metallic and acoustic avalanche for just 200 rupees, (where in the world would one get to see five of the best rock bands in the country for this price??) Exercise those necks and limbs people, because this is one storm that will create some serious muscle spasms.
