Fans will miss him

Elvis Presley fans who enjoyed the performances of Sri Lanka's look-a-like Elvis-Janaka, will miss him for a long, long time to come. Janaka left for Dubai last month on an administrative gig which is far from the throbbing of music.

Speaking to us before he left, Janaka wanted us to convey his farewell to all his fans and said that he will definitely miss them and the stage as well. It was like home to him, the stage in Sri Lanka, which gave him many moments of happiness singing the songs of Elvis Presley and acting out his idol on stage.

Ever since he was a kid he was crazy about Elvis, and everytime he heard an Elvis record on radio at home, he would drop whatever he was doing and run to listen to the song. His mother couldn't contain his passion, for Elvis, in fact she encouraged and supported him and the result was a successful music career as Sri Lanka's Elvis look-a-like.
