Janashakthi presents well wishes book to Murali

Janashakthi Insurance presented Sri Lankan cricketer, Muttiah Muralitharan with a book signed by members of the public numbering over one hundred thousand expressing their sentiments to him through the islandwide branch network of Janashakthi. The book was presented to Murali by Chandra Schaffter, Managing Director of Janshakthi Insurance. The occasion marked the launch of Murali's official website.

Tryphon R. Mirando, Director Marketing of Janashakthi said, "We launched this campaign in Murali's run up to beating Courtney Walsh's world record. It provided the general public with an opportunity to express their sentiments to a national hero who is a member of the Janashakthi family. Janashakthi has on many occasions felicitated Murali when he achieved many a milestone during his career and we are proud to do so once again as he is truly the greatest bowler in the world. "We look forward to him continuing his cricketing career for many more years and wish him success and strength on his way to establishing un unbreakable record."

What was most touching about the entire programme was that people from all over Sri Lanka walked into Janashakthi branches just to show Murali that they were with him all the way, even when the going was tough that Sri Lanka was behind him when he achieved the world record and that Sri Lanka will continue to urge him to attain greater feats.

This campaign entailed a specially designed Janashakthi outdoor promotion unit consisting of a float and a propaganda van, which travelled around the island informing the public that they could express their well wishes to Murali, by signing the special book.
