'Legend' in New Delhi

Noritake Lanka Porcelain in collaboration with Inter Asia of India opened its first showroom in India on Friday at the Defence Colony opposite Kotla in New Delhi.

Noritake regarded as one of the leading manufacturers in the tableware industry around the globe took advantage of the Free Trade Agreement between Sri Lanka and India to open this showroom. Named "The Legend" the showroom will provide facility of buying Noritake tableware direct from this showroom.

According to Nimal Perera, Director cum General Manager of Noritake Lanka Porcelain, the increasing Indian connoisseurs for many years had to go through the hassle of carrying the world renowned tableware from Sri Lanka causing considerable lapse of time in shipping and air freighting in the past.

With the opening of "the legend" all items made by Noritake Lanka Porcelain will be available at the Indian showroom.

Perera said that negotiations are under way with Indian authorities to open more "legends" in other major Indian cities as well in the future.
