Fund raiser concert for Sunera Foundation

Bassist extraordinaire Ramani Krishna returns for another fund raiser concert for the Sunera Foundation. The concert which will be held on Sunday September 5 at 7.30 pm will feature Glen Terry and Friends.

Besides bassist Ramani Krishna, Mark Lowenthal - pianist and keyboardist will be flying in for the concert. Mark who studied classical piano, composition and arranging at the New England Conservatory in Boston and the Brander's University, has performed with well-known musicians such as Tony Scott, Ernie Watts, Tony Lakatos and Bireli Lagrene.

Saxophonist Grant Chamberlain will join the Friends, while Aruna Siriwardhana will occupy the drum stool. According to Glen Terry - guitarist/vocalist, Jerome Spelderwinde will be a special guest at the concert.

The major sponsor for this gig is SriLankan Airlines and the concert will be held at Barefoot Gallery. Get your tickets in advance and support a worthy cause.
