Wear-anywhere togs

By Umangi de Mel

If you are into cliches, its action that speak louder than words. But sometimes, especially for the savvy lot, 'clothes' can speak the loudest. What you wear anywhere is emotive stuff, arousing passions and emotions in equal measures. Clothes, to borrow another clich‚, do 'maketh a man (in the generic sense).

It reflects who you are, who you want to be and what you are aspiring to be. But image and aspirations are nothing without the right togs - which automatically translates into trendy stuff, cool and classy and smart and swank.

The Sunday Observer Magazine takes a pictorial cruise down the isles of one of Colombo's busy fashion hotspots for some wear-anywhere togs that are easy on the pocket, great to look at and simply to die for.
