Orange receives SLS

Orange Switches and Sockets manufactured in Sri Lanka to international standards received the Sri Lanka Standards Certification (SLS) at a ceremony held at Waters Edge on 24th November.

Sri Lanka Standards Institute is the only agency that is approved by the government to certify compulsory requirements of electrical switches and sockets marketed in Sri Lanka. Orange is a local brand introduced to Sri Lanka in October this year that became the brand leader of switches and sockets in the launch.

Seen in the picture is Sanath Mendis Director General of Sri Lanka Standards Institute after handing over the SLS certificate to Kushan Kodituwakku Managing Director of Orange and looking on are Kosala Senarathne Director Manufacturing of Orange and Chandima Deerasinghe Quality Assurance Engineer of Orange.
