A Colts - BRC final by LAL GUNESEKERA Colts, who have already obtained first innings points over CCC, have entered the final of the Premier League Cricket Championship down to start on Friday at the SSC grounds, Maitland Place, and will be meeting their Havelock Town neighbours - BRC. Yesterday at Maitland Place, CCC, in reply to Colts first innings total of 247, were skittled out for a mere 123 with only Michael Van Dort top scoring with 59. Colts were 119 for 3 at close in their second turn.Indika Callage claimed 4 for 28, while leg-spinner Niroshan Bandaratilleke and Nuwan Kulasekera, two wickets each. Colts were doing well in their second turn with Sajith Fernando remaining unbeaten with a fine 58, while Jeewantha Kulatunga, who struck 86 in the first innings, too at the wicket on 22. Colts: 247 (Sajith Fernando 20, Romesh Kaluwitharana 25, Jeewantha Kulatunga 86, Niroshan Bandaratilleke 18) and 119 for 3 at close (Shantha Kalvitigoda 14, Romesh Kaluwitharana 18, Sajith Fernando not out 58, Jeewantha Kulatunga not out 22). CCC: 123 (Michael Van Dort 59, D. Hunukumbura 18, Anushka Polonawita 16, Indika Gallage 4 for 28, Niroshan Bandaratilleke 2 for 16, Nuwan Kulasekera 2 for 36). *** BRC on course BRC seemd set to qualify for the final after obtaining first innings points over SCC in the semi-final of the Premier League match played at the Colts grounds yesterday. SCC on 186 for 8 overnight, added 39 to be all out for 225 with Charith Sylvester unbeaten on 44 on Friday, completing a sound unbeaten 80 with 7 fours. Paceman P. de Silva claimed 4 for 69. BRC, in replay were 235 for 7 at close with Manoj Mendis (42) Danuka Pathirana 47 (7 fours), Waruna Waragoda 43 (5 fours) the chief contributors. SSC: 225 all out (C. Sylvester 80 n.o., D.
