ABC Computers opens Mobile Solutions Gallery ABC Computers has opened a Mobile Solutions Gallery in Colombo to provide access to a wide range of HP mobile devices, software and services, to keep professionals connected to people, data and resources. Microsoft of Sri Lanka said the HP Mobile Solution Gallery will be their official lab for the "Imagine Cup 2005" software design competition in Sri Lanka. This Gallery will provide solutions to mobile phones and computers to reach Sri Lanka's far end market, Dialog GSM CEO Dr. Hans Wijayasuriya said. "No solution would reach the masses, unless we look at the retail market," Dr. Wijayasuriya told the opening ceremony of the Gallery. He said that when mobile phones were introduced to the country it was considered a luxury but after focusing on the retail market, the industry became more vibrant and alive. Wijayasuriya said that mobile phones and the computer industry will reach Sri Lanka's retail market together with the opening of the Gallery. Director ABC Techno Gallery Asoka Jayawardena said that the Gallery offers innovative HP products and turn-key solutions that enhances the productivity in the corporate and government sectors. He said that the Gallery will help professionals such as doctors, lawyers, accountants and Marketing and Sales and Human Resource Resources to obtain the latest personal management systems including mobile products, PCs and other integrated solutions. The Connect Zone is a gallery of products and services that are offered to tech-savvy consumers with the opportunity to collaborate and communicate effectively using the state-of-the-art technology, he said. |
