JVP: Old habits die hard by Deepal Warnakulasuriya The JVP has proved that old habits die hard. They threatened the Sunday Observer journalist who went to cover the party's annual convention at the Town Hall premises last Wednesday when he refused to let JVP guards peep into his document case. The journalist said that his carrier bag could be checked only by State security personnel and not by JVP members. JVP members sporting party badges then threatened to assault the journalist using abusive language. |
