Maha Nayake Theras condole

by L. B. Wijayasiri in Kandy

The Most Ven. Tibbotuwawe Sri Siddhartha Sumangala Mahanayake Thera of the Malwatta Chapter and Most Ven. Udugama Sri Ratanapala Buddharakkhitha Mahanayake Thera of the Asgiriya Chapter yesterday expressed their deepest sympathies over the sudden demise of Foreign Minister Lakshman Kadirgamar.

In a condolence massage, the two Mahanayakas vehemently condemned this inhumane and cowardly act and stated that the late Foreign Minister's demise was an irreparable loss to the country.

The Mahanayaka Theras also expressed that the late Minister had rendered a yeoman service to win the goodwill of the international community in regard to the country's ethnic conflict.

The Thera also blessed the Central Provincial Councillor Dilum Amunugama for appointing him as the Chief SLFP organiser for Senkadagala.
