Rock Saturday - 26th November with Colombo 7

Rock 'n roll is springing a massive comeback. We've witnessed diversity in all its splendour, originality in all its grandeur and genres spreading its wings from Thrash to Black Metal, Folk to Classic Rock to good old in your face Heavy Metal.

Bands and artistes have progressed to newer levels, changed this very facet of delivery and worked on their stage finesse taking Rock'n Roll to the next level. The anticipated monthly event in is happening again, to depict talent at its most hallowed in the form of Rock Saturday.

Gear up, spread the word and may every messenger and patriot of the 'loud' Sri Lankan carrion call gather in unison to witness Rock and Metal create bliss at the Women's International Hall on November 26, where the sound will reverberate. The music is supposed to be delivered in the guise of a lullaby... for Rockers!

Hard Rock tongue in cheek rebels and kings of the groove Paranoid Earthling, Progressive Metal Architects gearing to launch their long anticipated second album Stigmata are prepared to give an early taste of their new venom, this year's TNL Onstage Winners and Thrash/Power Metal perfectionists Tantrum ready to unleash their mettle, the calculated methodical madness and Heavy thunder of Insanity, Black Metal specialists Siblings of Hatred are prepared to dish out their debilitating musical chants, Sri Metal masters and Metal hurricane Whirlwind all set up to deliver their power packed goods, The Folk Rock maestro with a voice to die for Dilan Jayakody will unleash all his talent and amazing skill to top the night of with versatility beyond comparison.

Expect Rock, Hard Rock, a wide range of Metal styles, Folk and some interesting new tunes by some of the bands. A few surprises are in store... so you'd have to be seriously 'jobless' to miss the November Rock Saturday people!!!

Have fun, have a good time, enjoy a little head banging, soul shaking, and at end of the night...you'll be able to just vent out a week's frustration and set yourself and your soul free!
