Colombo BC still unbeaten

Colombo BC with three wins over police, Air Force and Army, are the only unbeaten team in the Men's 'A' Division of the Colombo Super League Championships of the Colombo District Basketball Association (CDBA) now in progress.

They beat Air Force by 70 points to 61 after leading by a slender two points (33-31) at half time with Chamith Danawansa (18), Roshan Randima (15) and Rasika Prabath (13) doing most of the scoring. For the Airmen, Ravi Dodangoda (22) was the highest scorer with Asanka Perera (14) and Indika Wijeweera (12) too chipping in with useful scores.

In another 'A' Division game, Otters just managed to get the better of Wattala BC by 50 points to 49 after been led 28-17 at half time with Shanka Perera (16) being the top scorer, while for Wattala, Prageeth Pushpakumara (22) was the best. Colombo BC also beat Police 57-42 after leading 35-19 at half time with Chaminda de Alwis (17) and Roshan Randima (11) outstanding, while the poloice Ranga Perera (18) was the top scorore.

Wattala BC Beat Air Force 78-67 after been led 24-34 at half time with Manjula Jayaratne (22), Maxwell Saranapala (17) and Prageeth Pushpakumara (15) been the top scorers, while Asanka Perera (28) and Indika Wijeweera (15) were the best for Airmen.

In the Men's 'B' Division, Moratuwa BC beat Bohra SC 91-55 after leading 49-26 at half time, while in the Men's 'C' Division Wennappuwa BC beat Bohra BC 120-58 after leading 48-26 at half time, Dihiwala YMCA beat Bohra SC 55-38 after leading 29-17 at half time and Colombo Ingernational School beat Engles 70-48 after leading 25-23 at half time.
