The Export Promotion Bureau of Pakistan and the Ministry of Commerce have decided to make the EXPO - Pakistan an annual event. The EXPO - 2006 will be held from March 29 - April 2, 2006 in Karachi at the EXPO centre. EXPO Pakistan - 2006 will cater to the wide range of profile from fabric, apparel to the industrial and engineering goods to information technology, thus providing a very rare opportunity to meet the diversified range of exporters in Pakistan.

The second Food, Agri and Livestock Asia - 2006 is being organised by Ecommerce Gateway (Pvt) Limited, Singapore and Jamal's yellow pages of Pakistan in support with the Ministry of Privatisation and Investment from September 8 - 10, 2006 at the same venue.

A spokesman for the Sri Lanka High Commission in Karachi said that the organisers would like to encourage the setting up of an exclusive Sri Lanka Pavilion to provide a platform to the potential organisations from Sri Lanka to introduce the representation of Sri Lankan products.

The trade event will play a vital role to further strengthen the existing bilateral trade between both countries in the years to come. This event would also incorporate the hotel, restaurant and bakery Asia exhibition.
