Cotton Collection goes for mega promotion

Cotton Collection will launch a mega promotion for the season to give away air tickets to Bangkok to seven lucky winners.

Managing Director Cotton Collection Niloufer Anverally said the promotion will be held from December 5-11 and we will announce the name of the winner daily. All you have to do is to purchase goods to the value of over Rs 5,000 and enter the draw.

The draw will be held in the evening and by 11.00 a.m. the following day we will announce the name of the winner. The air tickets will be valid for six months, he said.

The secret of Cotton Collection is its merchandising which is given a lot of attention. Careful planning and attention to detail are some of the key points we always highlight. "We at Cotton Collection ensure that we are on top when talking about fashion and we purchase export quality items from Sri Lanka and other parts of the world. There is a lot of spirit behind the buying," she said.

Anverally said that the time and effort we give to merchandise and the cost of our clothes attracts customers to our stores.

Speaking of trends this season she said that Victorian inspired fashions trimmed with lace and frills are in vogue this season.

The combination of black items of different materials and textures are proving particularly popular with purple showing up a lot too as a way to accent the black on black-layered look and as a cooler for accessories and cosmetics.

Full skirts, especially gypsy styles in crinkled fabrics and voile are among the season's top looks. Anverally said that the hottest colours are oranges and the greens. She said that dressing is also effortless when building an outfit around a skirt, simple tops, seamless tanks and seamless camisoles all make for an attractive outfit. The colours don't even have to match, she said.
