Adikari asks Chandrika and Ranil to leave the scene

Former Post and Telecommunications Minister A.M.S. Adikari in an open letter to President Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaratunga and Opposition Leader Ranil Wickremesinghe has asked both of them to retire from politics gracefully and let others continue from where they have left.

"Your actions in clinging on to power are really shameful. Moreover, it is not the thing done.

The masses are eagerly awaiting for a change of heart," states Adikari in his letter.
