Sri Lanka Junior TT players to Iran Sri Lanka Junior Table Tennis players will play at the FAJR Inter- International Table Tennis Tournament conducted by Iran Table Tennis Federation December 15 to 20 in Tehran, Iran. Altogether 16 junior players and 3 officials will make the trip. But the problem is finding Air tickets for all 19 of them. The Iran Table Tennis Association has promised the Table Tennis Association of Sri Lanka accommodation and food for the players and officials. The main problem is that the return air ticket cost has to be borne by the players and officials. The Sports Ministry has approved the selection and granted permission to participate at the championships. The 16 member team Sukitha Wickremanayake (Dharmaraja College), B. Walagampola (Royal) Chathura Viskam (Sri Devananda), Sahanaka Ganegoda (Royal), Ishan Kalyana (Dharmasoka) Rajitha Samaraweera (Dharmaraja), Dualn Nakandala (Royal), Chameera Ginige (Dharmasoka), Samitha Abeyratne (Royal), Hasintha Shasiranga (Dharmasoka), Nalin Dilusha (Sri Devananda), Imantha Udanjaya (Dharmasoka), Dushan Ranatunge (Isipathana), Oshadee Kottehewa (Royal), Proboditha Rodrigo (St. Anthony's Katugastota), Pasan Bimsara (Royal). Asitha Vidanagamage will be Manager, Jothipala Samaraweera, Coach, D. G. K. Weerakoon officer in charge of School players. L.F |
