Lankan found dead in Beirut

A Sri Lankan woman was found in critical condition on the streets of Northern Suburb in Beirut according to foreign affairs sources. After she was rushed to Serhal hospital she had passed away and her body is lying at Serhal hospital mortuary in Nacccahe, Beirut.

The Embassy of Sri Lanka in Lebanon has informed the Consular Affairs Division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Colombo that Pattiyage Selina Peiris was in Lebanon prior to her death.

Any information of P. Selina Peiris or next of kin who could accept her body can contact the Consular Affairs Division of Ministry of Foreign Affairs, 97A, Galle Road, Colombo 03 or Telephone Nos. 0112437635, 4718972 and Fax No. 4719593.

Following are her details: NIC No. 406990273V (Date of issue 06.10.1973), Date of birth 17.07.1940. Place of birth is Kalubowila, home address is 140, Dehiwala, Galle Road, Nugegoda and her passport No. is not available.
