Flights to depart 30 minutes earlier All Emirates flights out of Colombo will depart 30 minutes earlier than listed on timetables with effect from April 15, consequent to a decision by the government of Sri Lanka to revert to GMT + 5.30 hours. All tickets already issued by the airline will be valid for travel, but passengers have been advised to come to the airport half an hour earlier than originally scheduled to compensate for the time change. All Emirates tickets issued after April 10 will reflect the time change, the airline said.
