Trinity and Mahamaya Central Province champs

Trinity College and Mahamaya Girls College came on top among the boys schools and girls schools respectively at the Central Province Athletic Championships held at the Bogambara Stadium.

Among the boys, Trinity College came on top collecting 283 points while Vidyartha College came second with 228 points and St. Anthony's College, Katugastota were third with 216 points.

In the girls events, Mahamaya came first 272 points with Pushpadana coming second with 139 points and Girls High School came in third with 135 points. There were around 3,000 competitors from 116 schools from Central Province who participated at the meet.
