S. Korea holding Vietnamese for possible extradition on terror charges SEOUL, April 15 (AP) South Korea is holding a Vietnamese man for possible extradition on terror charges, a news report said yesterday. The unidentified suspect is imprisoned at the Seoul Detention Centre after being arrested at a Seoul hotel on April 4, the English-language Korea Times reported, citing the Justice Ministry. The arrest was made in accordance with a request from Vietnam's government that accuses him of "masterminding terror plots against the Southeast Asian country's diplomatic missions overseas," the paper cited an unnamed ministry official as saying. Ministry officials were not available Saturday to confirm the report. South Korea has an extradition treaty with Vietnam. Vietnam is expected to send information to South Korea to back up the charges which will be reviewed by the Seoul High Court before it makes a decision on whether to extradite him, the paper said.
