Celltel unveils new prepay tariff
Celltel, the pioneer mobile phone operator who recently announced a
major GSM expansion of reaching 750 towers in 2006 islandwide, unveiled
a new prepay tariff, which will benefit all their existing as well as
new customers.
"The new tariff offers one minute incoming free for all refreshes
below the denomination of Rs. 449 while Celltel to Celltel outgoing will
now be Rs. 5 per minute" said Celltel's Commercial Director, Aniljit
Singh. Customers who refresh for Rs. 1000 and above will continue to get
two minutes incoming free, whilst all Takgala reload, and Rs. 150 card
customers will get one minute incoming free".
All standard tariff customers within the network will continue to
enjoy outgoing calls at Rs. 5 per minute, with these benefits being
automatically extended to almost a million Celltel customers islandwide
as well as all new customers, even in new areas where Celltel is
launching for the first time.
"We are targeting this at our customers who seek value from every
cent they spend and purchase the bare minimum which enables them to
remain contactable at all times", said Singh.
Now with an islandwide drive of coverage and benefits like Celltel to
Celltel calls at only Rs. 5 per minute, friends and family will be able
to remain connected with Cellcard, the most popular prepay brand in the
market today.
"With the 2006 expansion, we will be second to none in terms of
service and coverage" Singh said adding that Celltel will continue to
make mobile services available and affordable for the masses. |
