GT dealers rewarded

GT dealers were rewarded for their contribution to the company and its success at the recent GT Awards Night at the Waters Edge. The Awards Night was hosted by Douglas and Sons Ltd, the sole agent for GT Tyres (Gajah Tunggal) in Sri Lanka.

The company's 400 strong dedicated-dealer network participated. Christopher Chan, the President of Pt. Gajah Tunggal of Indonesia and other senior GT officials representing the company's international operations were present. Douglas and Sons Ltd rewarded the outstanding performances of 2005 with 362 prizes and trophies.

Among the prizes were 229 air tickets for European Tours, Kenyan Safaris, Bali Adventures and for Singapore and Malaysia.

Chairman and Managing Director of DSL Saroj Perera said, "This team has performed exceedingly well to achieve these targets amidst a very difficult trading environment".
