IBSL Diploma program launched

The Institute of Bankers of Sri Lanka (IBSL) commenced its Diploma program in Treasury, Investment and Risk management for 2006. The chief guest V. Sivanandan, training manager Commercial Bank said treasury is a subject in which very few people specialise.

He commended IBSL for conducting a diploma course of this nature at a very affordable price. Sivanandan called upon the students to make use of the opportunity to enhance their knowledge in Treasury, Investment and Risk management.

The students comprised a majority of young people from banks and financial organisations. Director studies IBSL, R. Villavarajah also spoke.
