Revival of local Tamil music

Ferdy Je, a new voice in the local Tamil radio waves is also a full time business person who runs a company which manufactures computer components and cosmetics in Sri Lanka.

The son of late C. M. Joseph, famous educationist from the Eastern Province, Ferdy Je has been able to revive the local Tamil music industry by writing the lyrics for ten songs and composing music for his album called "Ferdy Je".

Along with Suresh de Silva who helped him do the ten songs which vary from Rock, Hip Hop, Folk and Fusion, Ferdy Je has also sung a track called 'Pullu Conduwa Pulla' with Anne Withanage, while Mahen Balendra has also backed him.

The album which was released on February 14, 2006 is the first Tamil music album to be released by M. Entertainment. The artiste is also known in the local Tamil Radio industry for his radio dramas.

Working hard to release his second album in November, 2006, Ferdy Je hopes to make local movies of international standards.
