Free lessons at Victoria Golf Academy

The Victoria Golf Academy run by the Victoria Golf and Country Resort has launched a series of free golf lessons to encourage potential golfers to take up to the game and also for the people who wish to improve their skills and acquire a better knowledge of the game. A golf coaching clinic for ladies and gentlemen is being conducted every fortnight at the stunning driving range at the golf course of the Victoria and Country Resort at Rajawella.

With experienced golf professionals providing valuable advice and individual attention to golfers, this coaching programme has teed off with excellent line and length. Already many have gathered to reap the benefits of this free clinic which has also seen good attendance. General Manager of the Victoria Golf and Country Resort Mika Varney who is also a British Professional Golf Associations professional, had this to say whom asked about his comments on the now coaching programme and the Golf Academy at Victoria.

"We have designed the coaching programme to enable all participants to learn the basics of golf, crucial in developing one's own style when playing. Individual attention is given where necessary to learn the proper techniques of the game.

A Golf Academy at Victoria has been established with the aim of filling the void of not having a proper academy within the country to provide the much needed coaching to improve the game".Quality coaching and attention to improve the technique is vital in any sport and more so in golf. The Golf Academy at Victoria provides learning options of residential golf coaching packages at attractive rates and individual coaching on a lesson by lesson basis, depending on the requirements of the golfer concerned.
