Union Assurance top sales achievers rewarded for 18th year

Themed "Recognising the Potential, Power and Pride," Union Assurance Ltd (UAL) honoured their top sales achievers last week.

General Manager, Marketing and Distribution Rukman Weeraratne, said "UAL is blessed with a wonderful team," and dedicated the ceremony to "the sales and support staff who contributed to the success of the company in 2005." He also paid tribute to UAL's loyal customers without whom we could not have achieved the outstanding success we are enjoying today.

Over 195 awards were presented to the best of the best sales achievers at the ceremony. The life insurance "Champion of Champions" award was won by Udan Silva who also won the International Quality Award (IQA) and Best New Business Producer awards. He also qualified to participate in the Million Dollar Round Table(MDRT).

Four other high performing sales persons also qualified to attend the MDRT, the premier international association for life insurance sales persons.

All five award winners will be fully sponsored by the company to attend the annual conference which will be held in the USA later this year.

The "Most Outstanding General Sales Person" award was won by Eric Upashantha for the second consecutive year. He was the best Sales Manager at the Corporate Business Development Unit.
