Norway's analogy on GOSL - LTTE biased
The government yesterday expressed surprise and
regret over the Norwegian communication that urged the LTTE to
guarantee diplomatic immunity to the truce monitors when it could
only be done by a legitimate government of a sovereign state.

British Police net key LTTE activists
Over the past week, large numbers of LTTE
supporters protested in Parliament Square opposite the British
Houses of Commons as a part of an ongoing LTTE protest against the
proscription of the LTTE in Europe, Human rights incidents and
demanding the right to self determination.

Driving licence to cost more?
The Ministry of Transport will shortly introduce
a new "Smart Card" (with a SIM) driving licence. Tenders had been
entertained recently and of the seven bidders five have been
rejected, well informed sources revealed.
