NCS and Ceylinco to target growth markets

NCS Group, a leading IT and communications engineering services provider in the Asia Pacific and Middle East regions signed the strategic business alliance agreement with Ceylinco Consolidated. Under this agreement, NCS will provide information technology and communication engineering services for all Ceylinco's core business and other ancillary commercial activities in Sri Lanka and other parts of the world.

It also provides NCS the preferential right to provide information systems and network management services in all the projects undertaken by Ceylinco's group of companies.

The Ceylinco Group, the largest conglomerate in Sri Lanka, is primarily engaged in the business of investment holding, infrastructure development, financial services and other business activities.

Describing the formalising of close ties between NCS and Ceylinco as a 'strategic partnership towards greater synergies and growth', CEO of NCS Group Dr. Chong Yoke Sin said, "Ceylinco's strong position and considerable experience in commercial activities in Sri Lanka as well as other parts of the world makes them an ideal partner to support us in our drive to provide core services in Sri Lanka and other countries in the region"

Chairman of Ceylinco Consolidated Dr. Lalith Kotelawala said, "Ceylinco Consolidated is proud to partner NCS. Ceylinco's widespread domestic networks and experience and NCS with its proven capability and domain experience and expertise will no doubt be a powerful combination.

With this alliance, it will allow us to jointly provide a wide spectrum of offerings to clients".
