The leader called his troops, and despatched this
message. He said, "Mr John, (Mr Long John) please start a chain letter
type rumour campaign saying 'tomorrow the LTTE will hit the schools."
President Mahinda Rajapaksa will, on Tuesday, chair
the inaugural session of the two committees which have been set up to
formulate a constitutional framework to solve the ethnic conflict.
