National School Games: Royal win at badminton and hockey

Royal College players put up a good team effort to win two titles - Badminton and Hockey and they also were runners-up in the Table Tennis and Gymnastic events at the second stage of the National School Games conducted by the Ministry of Education and concluded last Sunday.

Meanwhile, Ananda College won the Gymnastic and under-15 Carrom titles, Anuradhapura MV also bagged a 'double' winning Under-19. Girls Volleyball Tournament and Girls Cycling Event, Seeduwa Dhammissara MV won the under-15 and under-17 boys Volleyball Tournaments.

Anula Vidyalaya, Nugegoda succeeded in taking the Girls Badminton title under-15 girls Carrom title.
