Attention: SSP Traffic Colombo

Given below are the public places which are invariably blocked by people without any consideration for the general public:

1.Havelock Road, Colombo 5. Near premises No. 127. Blocking the narrow pavement by a hardware shop with sand and bricks piled up.

2.Ward Place, Colombo 8 (Borella). Near No. 194, blocked by three wheelers waiting for their turn.

3.Narahenpita Junction, opposite the Labour Secretariat. Kohuwala bus shelter is blocked by a fruit seller.

4.Ward Place, opposite the Dental Hospital pedestrian crossing: Pavement is about 4 1/2 feet in width. A sweep seller blocks about 3 feet and another serving counter jutting out to the main road.

5.Thimbirigasyaya Junction (opposite side of Ashokaramaya Temple) Kohuwala-bound bus bay is blocked by parked lorries waiting for hire.

The traffic officers of respective area seem to be deaf and blind to the situations.
