Xerox relaunches Office Automation products
Xerox, a fortune 500 US technology company re-launched its Office
Automation (OA) products here to recapture the market by 2008. Xesol (Pvt)
Ltd, an associated company of the Alliance Group represents Xerox in Sri
Lanka.
Xerox General Manager, South Asia Operations, Y.S. Bisht told the
media that Xerox will be one of the top three OA brands in Sri Lanka by
2008. Xerox has been a popular OA brand in Sri Lanka for the past 30
years.
Xerox, a world renowned OA brand operates in 160 countries. Xerox
which holds 40% market share in Asia and 60% market share in India is
the No. 1 brand in colour printing, Bisht said. Bisht expects the Sri
Lankan market to expand simultaneously with its Asian market.
Xerox has created a niche for itself in the laser printer segment.
Xerox is also in the ICT industry and is associated with brands such as
IBM, Dell, Fujitsu and Sun.
CEO of Xesol, Dennis De Costa said that his company is committed to

Xerox offers the full gamut of office and commercial printing

Bisht said Xerox printers and multi-functional devices are 30% more
productive than other products in the market. The Xerox document
reproduction equipment ranges from 17ppm -495ppm. It is the most
advanced technology and the widest portfolio available from a single
brand. Xerox provides the largest colour and black and white production
printers with variable data printing facility. These machines can be
used for bill printing purposes of telephone, electricity companies.
"Xerox Free Flow" and "Xerox Docushare" are two effective document
management software products. The software manages documents of any
organisation across the board in terms of record management, content
management and work flow management.
This technology can be used in all organisations to increase their
